Is your child struggling to succeed with

reading and literacy skills?

Does your child:

* skip or insert words when reading?

* predict words based on the first letter?

* read words, but still can't comprehend?

* avoid reading?

* exhibit poor spelling?

OnTrack Reading Centre is here to help!

We offer intensive, reading intervention classes that work with your schedule. Intervention is provided after school. Sessions range from 45 minutes, 60 minutes or 75 minutes, depending on your schedule and the needs of your child. We are able to provide intervention either in person or virtually. Instruction is provided either one-on-one or small group (maximum 2-3 students).

We use an evidence-based Structured Literacy methodology that is explicit and systematic and focuses on phonological awareness, word recognition, phonics and decoding, spelling, morphology, and syntax. Our reading specialists and educational therapists use an Orton-Gillingham, multisensory approach to reading that is diagnostic, individualized, and responsive.  This approach allows us to meet the individual needs of each student in a supportive setting.  Our educational therapists are experts at determining reading difficulties and can provide diagnostic instruction and intervention specifically designed to address the unique needs of all learners, especially those with specific learning disabilities such as Dyslexia.
